On Saturday 6 October 2012 the Foundation hosted its annual fundraising dinner at MONA.
This culinary and cultural event celebrates the Foundation’s ongoing philanthropic activities stimulating innovation, positive change and sustainability across Tasmania.
This year Chef favourite, Danny Russo treated our guests to an extraordinary culinary feast served with carefully selected premium Tasmanian Wines.
The evening began aboard Peppermint Bay II with sparkling wine and canapes as guests made their way to MONA. Upon arrival they were treated to a most moving performance by Maria Lurighi and Andrew Legg.
Exclusive works by David Keeling, Mairi Ward, Robyn McKinnon, Lola Greeno, Di Allison and Linda Van Niekerk along with unique experiences at Avalon Coastal and Rocky Hills Retreat, Cloudy Bay Beach House, Maria Island Walks, Ridgeline Pottery & Accommodation, Tasmanian Air Adventures were auctioned on the evening. All funds raised go towards the Foundation's annual programs across the arts, environment and social justice.
